This past ignite service Joel challenged everybody to stop playing “church” and show up with an expectation of experiencing God.
Our soul is constantly searching for truth and when we quiet our life down we can focus more on God.
We cannot understand LIFE without being connected to the Life-Giver.
This week pray that God shows himself to you a little more and come to the next ignite ready for what God has in store for you.

If you have ever walked in to a church and have been judged because of what you look like or who you are You need to watch this video. I pray that you have had a more loving experience in church, but not everybody has. Our goal at ignite is to let you know that we are ll accepted by God.

This weeks teaching was on the tongue. What an awesome night we had. At first I was a little concerned because we have a very low turn out. It was about half as many as the week before. Was it because we didn’t do our best at invites, because of the ball game, because because because? Truth is it doesn’t matter why. If any of it was because of our lack of drive we will sure as heck fix that for the next one.
With that said what we did have was a group that was very eager to jump into worship of God. Numbers do matter beacuse the more that are there the more we can reach. Even more important however is that those who do come have thier lives transformed by the Great news of the Lord.
There was no hellfire and brimstone this week. It was just honesty. Being real with the fact that we say some stupid stuff and the crap that comes out of our mouths can tear people apart.
It does not honor God in any way to spout off words likeslut, hoe, tool, moron etc etc. But it is those same words that drove the nails in Gods hands. Jesus bore our sin so we could e saved.
So the question is do we choose to walk in that forgiveness or are we satisfied filling ou heads with crap and having garbage come out of our mouths.
We suck…simple as that. I am glad we have a God who doesn’t.

Our Oct 5th Ignite was fantastic. We had almost 60 people there again and many of them had come before. We had as usual fantastic worship music in our own unique style and an awesome teaching.
The teaching was on being adopted by God. He calls us as his children and and he looks at us not by what we are or where we h
ave come from but by who we are. His creation. Fantastic!
Oct 19th is gonna be just as great as we head into our Fear factor series in Nov and then our Christmas service DEC 21st (gonna blow your socks off)
This weeks series is “The tongue”. They say it’s a powerful weapon…Lets see.
